I’ve volunteered at Fixit Clinics since 2023, when my manager at the time mentioned attending one at a local library and I decided to tag along for the next one. Since then I’ve troubleshot toaster ovens, deconstructed vacuums, cleaned out sewing macines, and more! It’s been rewarding to save appliances from the landfill and coach kids and their parents through maintenance of their household objects. I’ve also learned so many niche tips and tricks from other coaches who attend the sessions.
